Televisual could well and truly pat themselves on the back recently after getting another successful Intelligent Factual Festival under their belt. More than 450 people gathered at Gibson Hall in London to discuss the challenges and opportunities facing the Television Industry, which couldn’t be more relevant at a time when everyone is talking recession, recession, recession.
So you’ll understand the relief felt by all those filmmakers and production companies when they knew they could just sit back, listen, interact and participate in sessions chaired by commissioners from the major broadcasters. In previous years they’d been forced to frantically scribble notes whilst valuable hints and tips on how to get ideas from paper to screen were being handed out by the commissioners everyone wanted to hear from. So what was the magic ingredient to make the 4th Intelligent Factual Festival a much more enjoyable and relaxed occasion for all involved? In short Take 1 Transcription.
Whilst delegates happily absorbed information, Take 1 was quietly stationed at the back of the conference room recording the sessions and beaming the digital files back to Take 1 mission control. These files were then speedily and expertly typed, printed then bound, and copies were delivered to delegates within days of the event finishing. The feedback Take 1 has received has been overwhelmingly positive and the number of people that have taken the time to say thank you and tell us what an incredible relief it was to be able to not worry about note taking has been fantastic. Take 1 have been praised for the extremely high standard of the scripts, as well as the faultless accuracy and quality.
