New Position – Sales Executive (UK)

Take 1 are looking for a Sales Executive to join our team! Based at our HQ in Kent, the successful candidate will work closely with the Sales Team to primarily manage a set of new prospects/clients with a focus on generating leads and closing deals.

Job Title:

Sales Executive


  • Leverage Industry research/intel to follow up on leads, convert into sales and develop longstanding relationships.
  • Serve as an account manager to these clients throughout the process.


Key tasks

  • Use Industry research/intel to identify potential new prospects/clients and contact them to sell Take 1’s services via email and phone
  • Manage a set of new prospects/clients with a focus on generating leads and closing deals
  • negotiate deals with a view to growing volumes and optimising margins
  • Follow and achieve a set of sales goals managed on a monthly basis
  • Maintain and manage our CRM with up to date client information
  • Provide sales and administrative support to the sales team
  • Develop relationships and follow up with clients to check they had a positive customer experience
  • Gather industry knowledge and intel on M&E market trends, competitors, Take 1 positioning etc


Key Skills

  • An experienced sales person, with strong persuasive skills and experience generating leads, converting into sales, growing relationships and upselling additional services.
  • Excellent customer service with a proactive customer centric approach – always putting the customer first.
  • Confident communicator. Ability to listen to and understand customer needs, and respond to these appropriately to communicate value propositions
  • Relationship building. Ability to instigate and maintain strong, productive relationships with a network of connections
  • Self-motivated, target driven, tenacious and persistent
  • Commercially aware with experience growing existing and new business
  • Highly organised with attention to detail
  • Experience or interest in the TV & Media industry (is a help)
  • Confident with number crunching
  • English mother tongue and excellent verbal and written skills
