Serengeti

Take 1 has been contracted to provide post-production scripts for the BBC natural history series “Serengeti” produced by XIX Entertainment and John Downer Productions. The dramatised nature documentary uses ground-breaking filming techniques and technology to follow the interconnected stories of a cast of savannah animals over the course of one year and is narrated by award-winning British actor, John Boyega.
Take 1 provided post-production scripts for the broadcast of “Serengeti” on BBC One as well as for the distribution and localization of the six-part series to broadcasters in the US and Latin America, Germany, Sweden Norway, Japan, Czech Republic, Switzerland, Estonia, Latvia, Australia, South Africa, The Nordics, Singapore, Poland, Malaysia, the Middle East and Israel. The provided scripts include timecode, dialogue, captions, credits, shot descriptions, still/archive footage and music cues for both the original programmes and reversions for international distribution.
Take 1 were recommended to John Downer Productions by BBC Studios and “Serengeti” is the first production that the team has worked on for the company.
