Localization Manager

Position: Localization Manager

Location: Chile or USA / Remote

Key objective:

We are looking for a full-time permanent Localization Manager with dubbing experience to start immediately.

This role will ensure the high quality of localization (dubbing, voice-overs, subtitling and translation) client deliverables, whilst maintaining swift and professional responses to client enquiries

Key Tasks:

  • Accountable for co-ordinating client bookings for Localization work.
  • Liaising with client contacts regarding ongoing jobs, issues, and feedback, in a professional and helpful manner.
  • Oversee aforementioned client’s freelancers and third party suppliers and deadlines; including working in conjunction with the VP Localization and Dubbing Director to organize suitable deadlines.
  • Ownership of the schedule / delivery dates for each project to ensure the client receives assets by the agreed deadline
  • Communication of file delivery status to client
  • Reconciliation of files delivered and outstanding files to be delivered, and regular chasing of internal stakeholders and 3rd party suppliers to meet agreed deadlines.
  • Organise the delivery of incoming client files and co-ordinate with Media Service to ensure they meet the specification needed for our third parties.
  • When needed (particularly when working outside of normal office hours)- dealing with individual issues as reported by freelance artists and third party suppliers across all areas of localization
  • Ensure all client jobs are fully entered on MediaPulse and other relevant systems.
  • Confirm monthly incoming supplier invoices and Take 1 client invoices are accurate and timely.
  • Ensure links / resources / paperwork are used or forwarded promptly to the relevant recipient.
  • Carry out regular reviews of client’s account workflows, processes and job skill guidelines, and propose potential areas of improvement.
  • Put in place relevant departmental processes and protocols to ensure smooth-running / efficient department.
  • Administrative tasks as required.

Required Skill Set:

  • Dubbing experience essential.
  • Excellent project management skills.

Key objective:

We are looking for a Localization Dubbing Coordinator to ensure the high quality, timely management of dubbing client deliverables, whilst maintaining swift and professional responses to client enquiries.

Main tasks will include, but are not limited to:

  1. Accountable for co-ordinating dubbing project client deliverables in conjunction with the localization creative team (in LA) and booking into appropriate systems.
  2. Liaising with client contacts regarding ongoing jobs, issues, and feedback, in a professional and helpful manner.
  3. Work closely with the wider localization team to arrange handovers at the end of their office day, and provide detailed handover notes for them to pick up at the start of their next day.
  4. Receiving localization and associated files, in conjunction with the localization team in LA and check they meet the specification as stipulated and agreed by the client, prior to releasing to client and comparing to original client media when needed.
  5. Ensure links/resources/paperwork are used or forwarded promptly to the relevant recipient.
  6. Carry out regular reviews of client’s account workflows, processes and job skill guidelines, and propose potential areas of improvement.
  7. Administrative tasks as required

Key skills required:

  • Excellent English language, grammar and punctuation.

IT Support Technician

Key objective:

We are looking for a full time, permanent IT Support Technician who can monitor and maintain the computer systems and networks of an organisation. You will be installing and configuring computer systems, diagnosing hardware and software faults and solving technical and applications problems, either remotely or in person. Working within an Agile project team to support rollout of new applications monitoring of physical security of office premises, to include activating and de-activating fobs, and monitoring CCTV footage.

Key tasks will include, but are not limited to:

  • an understanding of secure networking in a media focused environment
  • install and configure computer hardware operating systems and applications
  • monitor and maintain computer systems and networks
  • talk staff through a series of actions, either face-to-face or remotely, to help set up systems or resolve issues
  • troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults
  • replace parts as required
  • provide support, including procedural documentation and relevant reports
  • follow diagrams and written instructions to repair a fault or set up a system
  • support the roll-out of new applications
  • set up new users’ accounts and profiles and deal with password issues
  • respond within agreed time limits to call-outs
  • work continuously on a task until completion (or referral to third parties, if appropriate)
  • prioritise and manage many open cases at one time
  • rapidly establish a good working relationship with staff and other professionals, such as software developers
  • test and evaluate new technology

We are looking for a Customer Success Executive to be an outstanding leader, charged with inspiring, and empowering the production, product management and technical teams at Take 1. Reporting directly to our COO, you will be the vital, hands-on, point of contact between our company and our clients to communicate client needs, champion the client throughout the business, help solve problems and achieve business goals. You will help establish and measure against the core metrics for success of the customer journey. 

Key tasks

  • serve as the lead point of contact for nominated clients while building and nurturing trusted, long-lasting relationships responding to requests, upselling new products and following up to check they had a positive experience
  • collaborate with our sales, product development and production teams to ensure the client is served appropriately
  • ensure a smooth client handover from the pre-sales team to account management
  • proactively manage client deliverables, ensuring the client has received deliverables on time against a given volume. This will involve proactively chasing the client for media files and ensuring the Take 1 team has ingested the media and processed the order on time.
  • be the point of escalation for the Take 1 Production teams regarding client issues,
  • work closely with Sales, Product, Production and Technical teams to ensure that products and services meet the evolving needs of current and future clients
  • maintain a high degree of discretion, prioritisation, and project management skills, as well as the ability to influence and reach amicable and successful solutions with internal and external stakeholders   
  • negotiate deals with a view to growing volumes and optimising margins with existing customers (with support from Sales)

Skills Required

  • a client services professional with solid experience in a customer facing/account management role, with excellent customer service skills and experience growing relationships and upselling additional services.

Production Assistant (Chile)

Key objective:

We are looking for a Production Assistant to assist the Production Coordinator, Assistant Manager and Manager in ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of all scripts to our clients.

Key tasks

  • To uphold each client booking through to its successful completion.
  • Administer all client and supplier queries promptly to maintain daily operational throughput.
  • Communicate effectively across all departments on internal topics, ensuring the Production team perform as part of a highly resourceful and effective organisation.
  • Implement and monitor each booking, having a full understanding of each phase from quoting through to delivery.
  • Continuous monitoring of all job deadlines to ensure these are met within good time, and forward plan to resolve any deliveries that may be in jeopardy.
  • Approve assets to check they meet all client specifications.
  • Respond to client queries regarding ongoing jobs in a professional and helpful manner.
  • Trouble-shoot queries from freelancers and suppliers regarding on-going jobs.
  • Prepare job costings and assist with invoice queries.
  • Assist the Production Coordinator with scheduling and assigning.
  • Administer complaints promptly and effectively, copying in the Production Manager where necessary.
  • Assist the Production Manager with ad-hoc tasks.
